The Opportunity:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to join our team. This role provides logistics support and leadership across the Australian and New Zealand market. You will be responsible for coordinating and tracking activities of all inbound shipments. You will be partnering internally across functions and externally with regulatory, customer service and shipping teams to meet local regulatory and customs requirements. You will ensure compliance and submission of required documents to ensure products that meet business and regulatory requirements reach our customers & patients.

Key Accountability:
Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day to day logistics operations for the purpose of ensuring availability and efficient distribution of products.
Managing the coordination and tracking of all outward or inbound shipments and meeting scheduling requirements.
Ensuring execution of logistics activities to comply with the Company’s specific requirements for cost, time, quality and risk minimisation.
Coordinating import permits for controlled substances to meet local regulatory and customs requirements for both Australia and New Zealand.
Working collaboratively with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure performance, service levels and cost reduction opportunities are optimized.
Overseeing import document retention and electronic document storage in line with our global trade compliance and customs requirements. Ensuring quality standards are adhered to and exceeded where possible, in line with global operations and guidance.
Coordinating product recalls as required by local regulatory and in-market quality teams. Reviewing performance data and identifying potential trends and opportunities for improvement.
Working collaboratively across the business to ensure the cross functional team achieves the best outcomes for the business and our customers and patients.

Key competencies, skills & experience required
Bachelor’s degree in relevant area, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management.
Expertise aligned to the above key accountabilities and at least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, Network Optimization, with a multinational organization.
Certification in APICS will be highly desired.
A natural leader with the ability to strategically manage and implement multiple and often conflicting priorities effectively and influence across areas of the business.
A self-starter ready to take ownership of a vital area of the business during a time of significant growth.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively and positively influence internal stakeholders and meet external customer expectations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply sound risk management.
Ability to influence management on complex operations, protecting the Company’s image and reputation with patients and medical stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, persuasion and leadership skills in dealing with a broad variety of cultures on non-routine matters, at times working in situations of high pressure to tight deadlines.
Ability to navigate organizational complexity and ambiguity
