Job Description

Payroll Project Improvement Officer - Payroll and Salary Packaging

As a valued member of the Payroll Services Team, the Payroll Project Improvement Officer will work with the Director of Payroll & Salary Packaging to ensure that all projects are effectively and efficiently planned, approved, escalated appropriately and executed in a timely manner.
The successful applicant will:
Be a pro-active and methodical person
Have strong attention to detail
The ability to prioritise and manage their time well


Classification: HS2 - Administrative Officer Grade 2
Salary: $2568.00 per fortnight
Hours: 76 per fortnight
Status: Fixed Term - 9 months


About the Payroll and Salary Packaging Team
The Payroll and Salary Packaging team is responsible for the payment of 4000 Bendigo Health employees and processing payroll for 4100 employees that fall within the Loddon Mallee Region.

Essential: 02.Demonstrated high level computer competencies using ‘Microsoft Office’ – word processing, database, spreadsheets, power point outlook and internet
Essential: 03.Demonstrated ability to prioritise and use initiative


Desirable: 04.Understanding of SAP / KRONOS / Manage Engine programs
Desirable: 05.Excellent interpersonal skills, to interact and communicate with a diverse range of people at all levels
Desirable: 06.Ability to work in a high pressure Environment
Desirable: 07.Ability to give excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
