Part Time Position - Monash Medical Centre

About Monash Health

Monash Health is an impressive organisation of seven public hospitals, 21 community health sites, five aged care facilities, university affiliated international research and tertiary education. We provide healthcare for the entire lifespan from pre-birth to palliative care and all stages in between, and we have recently opened the new 230-bed Monash Children’s Hospital.

About the Role

The main focus of this role is to provide high quality customer service, including sensitivity when dealing with clients, and to provide administration & clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient administration operations.

About You

The role would suit an individual who has the ability to work in a dynamic constantly changing environment whilst managing competing demands.

The successful applicant must:

Have previous experience working within a Customer Service environment;

Possess highly developed computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite;

Be able to show that they can fulfil data entry, reception and general clerical duties;

Be able to work Tuesday and Thursday 9:00am -5:00pm

In addition to the above, the successful applicant will also:

Display the ability to work within a dynamic, constantly changing multi-disciplinary team environment;

Show attention to detail and a strong sense of initiative;

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Display a commitment to ongoing professional development;

Display effective time management skills.

Previous experience working with medical record or appointment systems an advantage but not essential for the right candidate. All resumes must be accompanied with a Cover Letter addressing the above.
