Enza Zaden Melbourne is looking for a Customer Service and Logistics Specialists to support our commercial team through prompt and accurate reporting of information. What are you going to do?
As Customer Service and Logistics Specialist, you maintain a sufficient inventory position that ensures timely delivery of high-quality vegetable seeds according to the sales budget, with an efficient procurement process and minimising inventory write off. You'll respond and follow up on internal/external customer request (order status, product information, availability and balances on booked or contracted items).
You work closely with the sales department to prepare weekly spot order purchases and keep accurate records of transfers received and ensure that all documents are forwarded to the Finance Department in a timely manner. Enza Zaden is a fast-growing company. In that capacity, one of your responsibilities is to identify areas in which internal processes affect our service level to our internal/external customers and proactive recommend sustainable improvements for processes that are not efficient yet.
You give the Sales and Marketing team administrative support as needed. Eventually, the aim is to deliver excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders. Therefore, you compare and scrutinise the existing and estimated future inventory levels relating to the updated forecasts, bookings and contracts/pending sales orders, while minimising inventory write-off. But also, monthly preparation of update report to ensure that germination information remains current. All QA documentation and certification should be stored in a timely manner and be easily accessible for other departments. Your power
You are well spoken, driven and want to serve our customers efficiently. Because of the variation in the task you have to have excellent organisation and time management skills. To create and coordinate milling, packaging and seed enhancement process assignments in the ERP system and through third party venders as necessary, you have to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to learn new applications quickly. A good understanding how the industry works is a plus.
In short, you:
have at least a Bachelor's degree;
have relevant work experience in seed or equivalent professional experience;
must be willing and able to obtain a forklift drive permit;
ability to work occasional weekends;
occasional travel up to 10%, including some domestic and international travel.
