Job Description

bioMérieux Australia is a leading global in-vitro diagnostics company and a manufacturer of diagnostic reagents and instrumentations with a strong customer focus.
We are currently seeking a Logistics Controller to join our Supply Chain Team on a full time permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in 3PL Warehouses, Distributor and company consignment stock.
The role will report to the Supply Chain Manager and responsibilities will include:
Reconcile inventory between SAP and physical warehouse
Monitor environments where stock is held, and ensure Inventory Management policies are met and reviewed on a timely basis.
Facilitate efficient receiving of inbound and outbound stock
Assist QA to ensure all stock statuses in SAP are reflected in Warehouse controls.
Assist Demand Planner with stock availability, status, accuracy, and visibility
Assist warehouse personnel, distributor, and 3PL staff to ensure stocks are reconciled, recognised, and located correctly, including cycle counting on a weekly basis.
Assist bioMerieux employees and customers to maintain accurate consignment stock
Act as interface between warehouse / inventory and stakeholders for complaints and enquiries
Maintain and execute Inventory protection controls including Temperature, Humidity, Security and Complaint management.
Administer any Warehouse/3PL/Distributor related labelling, packaging, equipment and Supplies issues
Monitor and assist Warehouse/3PL partners with maintaining correct/compliant consumables, pallets and ancillaries.
Act as primary liaison for Warehouse/3PL/Distributors in maintaining SAP & Non-SAP systems access, training, rights and related data maintenance
Maintain Warehouse/3PL Standard Operating Procedures, Forms, Training, Record-keeping and documentation.
Liaise with freight companies on matters of incoming and dispatched goods opportunities and issues
Administer stocks damaged during transit inbound and outbound and ensure appropriate disposal / safe handling
Assist with the preparation of daily / weekly / monthly / annual reports as required, including but not limited to performance achievements and KPI’s, and pre-budget activities
Administration of Goods on Hold forms and processes
Manage meetings with 3PL, distributors and carriers
Skills and Education:
At least 2 years experience in distribution administration including experience in supervision of external suppliers KPI management.
Occupational Health and Safety awareness.
Time management skills
People and communication skills.
Computer skills. Excel essential, SAP desirable
Ability to plan and schedule to meet deadlines in a cost-effective manner
Tertiary Education preferred (i.e. Certificate in Warehousing and Distribution or studying, or higher)
