The Opportunity
Rise is looking for an experienced HR generalist to hit the ground running in the newly created position of Senior Coordinator – HR. This role will initially be based in Middle Swan and will working in the South Metro area following an initial training period.

About the Role
Salary: S&CS Level 6 ($83,495 – $87,202)
Location: South Metro (Initially based in Middle Swan)
Hours: Full time
The Senior Coordinator – Human Resources manages all tasks related to the employee life-cycle. This includes writing and publishing adverts, developing interview questions, facilitating process training, managing internal reclassifications and exit processes as well as providing ongoing support and guidance to staff at all levels.
This role is the initial contact point for all HR queries and works closely with line managers to provide advice and assistance in order to manage business activities and the employee life-cycle proactively. The Senior Coordinator is key to developing and managing projects in support of the Rise Strategic Plan and works with remote support from the Human Resources Manager

About You
This position is ideal for someone who is both proactive and focused and has a thorough understanding of human resources processes and practices. We welcome the knowledge and experience gained from a variety of generalist roles and look for your input into how Rise can continue to improve.
To be considered for this role, you will have relevant qualifications to at least a Certificate IV in Human Resources and/or relevant experience. You will be highly professional and diplomatic, with the ability to work independently with limited direction and as part of a team. You will be approachable by nature and highly responsive, with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
Further to that, you will have excellent time and project management skills and the composure to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at the same time. You will have strong attention to detail, with demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills, and the ability to exercise discernment and apply critical thinking when things are not black and white.

You will also demonstrate;
Experience with policy and award interpretation
The ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels and the capacity to maintain a high degree of discretion and professionalism at all times
Advanced computer skills in common use Microsoft applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook and database usage)
The ability to work autonomously whilst using initiative and problem-solving abilities
The ability to identify areas of process improvement and efficiencies to ensure best practice guidelines are consistently met
Knowledge of the SCHCDSI award is desirable.
Appointments to this position will be subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance no more than 6 months old.
