Our client is a boutique chartered accounting practice with a focus on team culture. Due to on-going growth an excellent opportunity has arisen in their Sydney CBD office for an experienced Bookkeeper to join on a permanent basis.

The role will have responsibility for;

Payroll function
AP function / AR function
Inventory accounting
Fixed asset accounting
Compliance (other than preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns)
Contribute to on-going standardization and continuous improvement of firm’s outsourced accounting services, including development marketing and delivery of new service lines.
Treasury function
Month end procedure to trial balance stage
Contribute to the scoping, costing, pitching and implementation of outsourced accounting solutions.
You will possess;

6+ years experience as a Bookkeeper in an accounting practice or professional services firm (experience in an outsourced Finance function would be viewed favourably)
Outstanding attention to detail
Xero systems knowledge (Xero certified)
Degree in Accounting
Enjoy the use of cloud programs and tools
Strong communication skills
Full Australian working rights
