Job Description


You will be accountable for providing teaching and vocational expertise, across all aspects of domestic project delivery, planning and performance in Cabinet Making, Building and Construction disciplines.

Your key accountabilities will be to:

Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners
Ensure high quality and current resources, teaching materials and assessments are used in teaching and learning activities
Enhance the student experience to improve engagement early on and assist learners to interact with their academic and social environment to prevent attrition and encourage success ABOUT YOU

You will have relevant tertiary qualification in:


Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or qualifications that meet RTO Standards
Vocational qualifications at AQF level Certificate IV / Diploma in Building & Consturction or Bachelor Degree in COnstruction Management or equivilant, with demonstrated experiance as a Builder, Contract Administrator, Estimator or Building Surveyor.
Registration with relevant professional association/s - Victorian Building Authority and membership with Master Builders or HIA (desirable)
A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
Crucial to your success will be a strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching and learning. A proven track record in design and delivery of up to-date and engaging programs in conjunction with the ability to motivate and guide students to optimise their learning outcomes.
