Job Description

This highly rewarding career opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to play an important role for a new systems upgrade and implementation project that will be transformational for the organisation embarking on a significant period of business change along with modernisation to their core IT systems.

As the Business Analyst on this new high visibility project, you will be involved in the day to day functions of gathering, capturing and identifying key business requirements as well as technical system requirements for both “existing” and “future state” clinical systems analysis, data mapping, stakeholder management, change management, process improvement, bespoke reporting tasks, developing systems wire-frames and diagrams, and supporting new implementations and project initiatives for the clinical system upgrade program.

Prior experience working with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Pathology would propel your success in this role, or other domain experience and knowledge working within Healthcare and medical industries will also strongly support your overall success and impact.

Responsibilities include:

Gain a sound understanding of business practices, processes and systems by liaising with users and stakeholders from all levels to enable successful partnership of the new LIS system delivery.
Creation of user stories, gap analysis and process mapping documentation, diagrams and wireframes.
Stakeholder and external vendor management.
Supporting the traceability of business requirements from the initial design, through to the build and testing stages.
Determine and develop the technical and the non-functional requirements, and then develop systems integrations diagrams and workflows for future state architecture.
Work across multiple business steams to determine and drive the best approach to achieve the desired outcomes from a Business Analysis task perspective.
Provide ongoing BA support to the project team (PMO) for ongoing arising needs and project requirements, along with supporting business SME’s and stakeholders.
Identifying of continuous improvement within your areas of responsibility. Skills & Experience required for this position:

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business domains or I.T
5 + Years Business Analysis experience covering workflow analysis, advanced reporting, gap analysis, “As Is” - “To Be”, process mapping / improvement, systems analysis, impact analysis, stakeholder / vendor management, workshop facilitation etc..
Industry experience working within the Healthcare and Medical domains.
Exceptional presentation skills in line with working in Enterprise level corporate environments.
Experience working with VISIO and JIRA.
Experience working with Microsoft Office products.
High level communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to forge strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and senior management and Executives.
Business Analysis certifications such as BABOK will be an added advantage.
