The Role
Recognised as a lead supplier to Government Contracts across the nation, an exciting opening has become available for an experienced business development manager to grow our portfolio within the Government and Education segments.

You will be reporting directly to the Segment Leader of Government and Education and joining their established Management team. Your focus will be driving new business outcomes. Collaboration within this team will be key as you develop, plan, direct and implement overall strategies for new customer growth.

Working diligently to develop relationships with key decision makers, acting as a trusted industry advisor, you will introduce and secure new business by successfully presenting solutions which best suits our customers’ needs.

Core responsibilities include:
Build and execute business development structure to achieve business objectives
Develop relationships with key decision makers and drive business outcomes
Work with key internal stakeholders to influence successful business acquisition
Work effectively with the account management team to ensure smooth transition and implementation
About You
To be considered for this role you will display the following attributes:
Demonstrated success in a similar business development role in a B2B environment
Strong sales skill based on commercial value proposition translation
Proven track record in new business acquisitions
Strong internal and external influencing skills
Ability to work within a cohesive & collaborative team
Exceptional time & priority management skills
Contract management abilities, with strong understanding of tender processes
Capable of dealing with high level executives and leaders across Federal, State and Local Governments
Strong numerical, verbal and written communication and MS Office skills
Success driven, focused and self-motivated
